Description
Mega 2560 Controller Board is a development controller board based on ATmega2560 R3 controller board compatible with Arduino IDE. With its 54 digital I/O pins and 16 analog inputs, the board is suitable for more complex projects with 3D printers, robots and other projects! In addition, the board has 4 UARTs, a 16MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connector, a power supply socket, an ICSP header and a reset button.
The board is either connected to a PC with a USB cable or supplied with power via an external power pack (e.g. AC/DC adapter, battery). Thanks to a special fuse, the USB ports on the PC are protected against short circuits and overcurrents - if the current is too high, the connection is automatically interrupted.
Elegoo's ATmega2560 comes pre-programmed with a bootloader, which allows codes to be uploaded to a device without the need for an external hardware programmer. It also has 256 KB flash memory for codes, 8 KB SRAM and 4 KB EEPROM.
The circuit board is suitable for children aged 12 and over.
