Description

The AMS 2 Pro from Bambu Lab is not just a simple add-on, but an intelligent high-tech system that transforms your printer into a real production machine. No more manual filament changes - this system thinks for itself, automatically recognises what you need and delivers the right material in the perfect condition, fully automatically.

Four spools. Full control.

The AMS 2 Pro cam hold four filament spools at the same time. By connecting up to four AMS 2 Pro and eight AMS HT units in series, you can manage a total of 24 different filament spools in parallel - perfect for complex, multi-colour or multi-material projects with different colours, textures or support materials.

Quick & easy material change

Thanks to a new high-performance servo motor, the AMS 2 Pro speeds up the filament feed by up to 60%, saving an average of 10 minutes per 100 filament changes. This speed advantage is particularly striking in multi-colour or multi-material printing.

Intelligent filament drying

The system dries up to four filament spools simultaneously and uses an electromagnetic air valve for automatic dehumidification. The spools are rotated regularly to ensure even drying for consistently high-quality printing results.

Easy maintenance and durable design

Compared to AMS, access to the filament tubes has been significantly improved: instead of loosening screws and removing spools, the tubes can now be accessed from above without tools - ideal for quickly removing jammed or broken filament. The new ceramic retractions with a Vickers hardness of 1200 also significantly increase the service life of the system.

Technology that thinks ahead

Thanks to RFID recognition, the system automatically scans your Bambu filaments and loads the appropriate parameters directly into the software. Temperature, drying time, material data - everything is pre-configured, right on target. You concentrate on your ideas, the AMS 2 Pro takes care of the rest!

Compatibility with Bambu Lab devices

The AMS 2 Pro is fully compatible with Bambu Lab 3D printers and can be integrated into the existing system with the separately available upgrade kit.

Note: X1 and P1 users require a separately available switching adapter to use the active drying function. As drying usually takes longer and several AMS 2 Pro units are rarely dehumidified at the same time, one adapter is usually sufficient for everything. H2D users can relax: The printer can supply each connected AMS 2 Pro unit with power, including the drying function. You may only need additional adapters if you plan to use several AMS 2 Pro units for drying at the same time.
