Description
The Bambu Textured PEI plate is a build plate specially developed for Bambu Lab 3D printers. It consists of a magnetic stainless steel plate with a special PEI powder coating on both sides.
The textured PEI achieves a very good surface quality of the printed parts. Fewer visible layers are created and the model receives a unique, fine finish. The textured surface offers an even stronger initial adhesion for the filament material than the smooth plate. This means that your prints adhere even better to the plate and are less likely to warp.
The plate is suitable for a wide range of materials, including standard filaments such as PLA, TPU and PETG, as well as filaments such as ABS and nylon that require higher temperatures to print.
Structure of the Smooth PEI building plate:
- 0.075 mm thick powder-coated PEI,
- 0.5 mm thick stainless steel plate with excellent magnetic adhesion,
- 0.075mm thick powder-coated PEI.
