Description

eSUN HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) is a synthetic copolymer. It is strong, durable, heat resistant, and soluble in limonene, a readily available solvent derived from lemon peel.

Mostly HIPS filaments are used as support material, but due to their performance, the filament is also a good choice for printing models that need to be durable and resistant.

Key features of eSUN HIPS

Note: Since HIPS tends to shrink, you should only print the material with an enclosed 3D printer.

It is also recommended to set the distance between the carrier and the model to 0, slow down the first contact layer and turn off the fan to improve the bond strength with the main material.
