Description
Protopasta HTPLA-GF is a glass fibre-reinforced high-temperature PLA that offers enhanced stiffness, improved heat resistance, and reduced deformation compared to standard HTPLA. Thanks to its fibre-infused composition, the material retains its shape at temperatures up to 150?¡ãC after heat treatment¡ªmaking it ideal for parts that require both mechanical strength and thermal durability.
Beyond its impressive performance, HTPLA-GF features a premium textured surface that effectively masks unsightly layer lines, giving your prints a clean and professional finish. Its low moisture absorption means no pre-drying is necessary, which simplifies the printing process considerably. And when it comes to output, this material delivers top performance: it supports print speeds of up to 24?mm3/s at 240?¡ãC, making it well suited for high-speed 3D printing.
Note: The added glass fibre content not only boosts stability but also increases abrasion. The use of hardened nozzles and drive gears is therefore strongly recommended.
