Description

Snapmaker's PLA Wood is a filament with the popular properties of user-friendly PLA, but with an improved formula with something extra! The PLA is made from fermented plant starch, making it biodegradable. This also makes the material RoHS compliant - safe for you and the environment.

The wood-like material has been optimised into a stable foam structure, clearly outperforming traditional wood composites on the market. It contains no wood particles, which could cause blockages. Instead, its nature allows for an even and smooth feed, as well as stable extrusion.

This premium material has been engineered to be similar in density to natural wood. Thus, the material is lighter in weight and suitable for a wide range of applications such as making prototypes, miniatures and home decorations. Its excellent strength and dimensional stability also contribute to this.

With an accuracy of +/- 0.05 mm, the PLA can be used to carry out precise work with complex details. Warping is also reduced to a minimum here.
