Description

ReFill PLA Carbon from Spectrum is a spool-less filament wound on a cardboard core that is compatible with the reusable spools by Bambu Lab and the Spectrum spools* you can print yourself - no additional adapters are required. This environment-friendly option produces almost no waste and is available at an affordable price!

PLA Carbon is a modified PLA-based filament that has been blended with 10% carbon fibre to increase the rigidity, hardness and tensile strength of the material. Despite the modification, Carbon PLA retains the easy printability, low shrinkage and very good adhesion of classic PLA. The carbon fibre lends an aesthetic, matte finish to the prints.

Note: Due to the high carbon fibre content, use nozzles with a diameter larger than the standard 0.4 mm when printing with PLA Carbon. Furthermore, as the abrasiveness of carbon fibre can lead to increased wear on the nozzle, using a hardened stainless steel or ruby nozzle is recommended.
