Description

Wear-resistant and durable, the Revo ObXidian is a nozzle with a tool steel insert and the new E3DLC? coating, which gives the nozzle non-stick properties. This special coating minimises the accumulation of plastic around the nozzle. With the ObXidian nozzle, a heat break is already integrated into the pre-assembled nozzle, so that incorrect assembly and hotend leaks are prevented!

With the easily swappable nozzle, you can decide based on personal preference whether to set up ultra-fine or ultra-thick extrusion widths! The result: printing larger objects in a short time or printing small objects with high resolution. Your choice!

The nozzle sizes are colour-coded so that they can be immediately distinguished from one another. An easily legible engraving of the individual size on top of the nozzle also ensures easier recognition.

What are ObXidian nozzles made of? The nozzles owe their incredible hardness to a special combination of materials and a unique manufacturing process. While the nozzle tip is made of hardened special steel, the rest of the nozzle is made of copper. A steel tube and a copper thread complete the wear-resistant nozzles. A special DLC? coating, developed by E3D and customised at the atomic level, uses the strength of diamond compounds to make the nozzles extremely wear-resistant.

Note: The nozzles are not compatible with V6 Heater Blocks! When changing the nozzles, the Z offset may have to be adjusted. When using abrasive materials, it is not recommended to use nozzles with a diameter larger than 0.4mm!
