Description

Flexibility with very good impact strength and thermal insulation

Spectrum S-Flex 98A is a thermoplastic polyether polyurethane-based filament that features a relatively simple and trouble-free 3D printing process.

Another advantage that allows for perfect printing is the very good adhesion of the first layer to the printing platform, whether it is made of glass, steel, plastic or any other material. Low shrinkage and high flexibility significantly reduce the risk of edge curling of manufactured parts.

The 98A filament name refers to the Shore hardness of the material and places Spectrum S-Flex 98A in the hard elastomer category. This property reduces the risk of filament deformation in the extrusion system and allows for slightly faster printing compared to other, more compliant elastomers.

Spectrum S-Flex 98A parts have very high resistance to hydrolysis (a type of degradation caused by the presence of water), good recyclability and very good resistance to dynamic forces.
